Las cadenas del exilio
Closely analyzing two poems: "Díptico Español" by Luis Cernuda and "La cautiva" by José de Espronceda, I discuss how these two writers utilized their poetry as a vehicle to voice their psychological and physical feelings of exile and displacement and how these feelings later came to affect their realities, identities, and their sense of homeland.
